Commendation in Honor of Suzanne Martin

WHEREAS, Suzanne Martin has ably served the Academic Senate of the California State University; and
WHEREAS, The members of the Governmental Affairs Committee and Academic Affairs Committee of the California State University have benefited enormously from her wise counsel on many issues; and
WHEREAS, Suzanne Martin has always been a model of stoicism, never complaining about frequent enforced absences from Sonoma for Senate meetings; and
WHEREAS, She has worked constantly and conscientiously toward fulfillment of the ideals of faculty governance and collegiality; and
WHEREAS, Suzanne Martin has shown exquisite sensitivity toward her fellow senators; and
WHEREAS, She has demonstrated remarkable skill in handling the infusion of technology in defining the virtual library; and
WHEREAS, Suzanne Martin has promised to return periodically from Northern New Mexico to add to civility in our sometimes raucous Senate gatherings; therefore be it
RESOLVED: That Suzanne Martin be commended for her thoughtful and dedicated service; and be it further
RESOLVED: That the Academic Senate of the California State University wish Suzanne Martin well in all her future endeavors.
