Resolution of Commendation for Francelina A. Neto
AS-3263-16/Cal Poly Pomona Delegation
WHEREAS, Francelina A. Neto is a proud Cal Poly Pomona Bronco committed to its polytechnic tradition and as a bonus, a black belt in karate; and
WHEREAS, Francelina has been a member of the Academic Senate of the California State
University (ASCSU) from 2014–2016; and
WHEREAS, Francelina has served on the CSU Student Information Systems and Services Task Force, the Common Management Systems Project; the Academic Conference Integration Committee; and somehow managed to survive the 2015-16 academic year dealing with the larger than life personalities of the ASCSU
Academic Affairs Committee; and
WHEREAS, believing that family always comes first, having taken two hour drives home
every evening for two years; and
WHEREAS, Francelina's extraordinary organizational abilities are best served as Cal Poly Pomona's Director of Semester Conversion full-time henceforth; and
WHEREAS, to the utter delight of her more talkative colleagues who had best remain nameless, Francelina confesses that she "only speaks when absolutely necessary;" therefore be it
RESOLVED: that the Academic Senate of the California State University express its appreciation and gratitude for Francelina A. Neto’s service to the California State Polytechnic University and to shared governance; and be it finally
RESOLVED: That the Academic Senate of the California State University wish Francelina A.
Neto the very best in all things, and good fortune as she continues her service as a dedicated faculty member and scholar at Cal Poly Pomona.
