Commendation for Dr. Greg Cho

WHEREAS, Dr. Greg Cho has served conscientiously on behalf of the California Maritime Academy on the CSU Academic Senate for the past three years; and

WHEREAS, Dr. Cho has served as the Senate's liaison to the Mathematics Council; and

WHEREAS, Dr. Cho has served on the system-wide Disabilities Advisory Committee; and

WHEREAS, Dr. Cho has served on both the Academic Affairs Committee and the Teacher Education and K-12 Relations Committee; and

WHEREAS, Dr. Cho has provided wise counsel on many topics including fine Korean cuisine; and

WHEREAS, Dr. Cho has provided most informative input on both the culture and history of many international communities including both Seoul and Pusan; and

WHEREAS, Dr. Cho, above and beyond shouldering his duties as state-wide senator has also carried the immense burden of serving alongside Senator Wheeler, as a representative of the Maritime Academy; therefore be it

RESOLVED: The Academic Senate CSU thanks Dr. Cho for his service and wishes him fair winds and calm seas.
