Re-Affirming Commendation of Robert (Bob) Cherny

AS-2705-05/San Francisco/EX - May 5-6, 2005

WHEREAS, In the true spirit of collegiality, and…in defiance of common sense and probability, Bob Cherny has continued to serve his colleagues throughout the California State University (CSU) and especially the Academic Senate thereof, subsequent to AS-2670-04; and

WHEREAS, In the period since that time Bob Cherny has added to his many lustrous accomplishments by virtue of his words and actions in San Francisco, Sacramento, and yea, verily, Long Beach, California; and

WHEREAS, No amount of verbal dexterity or acrobatics can do full justice to the intellectual breadth and depth, the high standards, and the sheer old-fashioned hard work that Bob Cherny has brought to the Academic Senate CSU; therefore be it

RESOLVED: That the Academic Senate CSU re-affirm AS-2670-04, passed at the plenary of May 6-7, 2004; and be it further

RESOLVED: That the Academic Senate CSU declare Bob Cherny MIRABILITER MIRABILIS.*
