RESOLVED: That the Academic Senate of the California State University recommend that the role of the Presidential Advisory Groups proposed in Board of Trustees Committee on Educational Policy Agenda Item 1 for September 17-18, 2002, be to gather campus local region input and to provide regional consultation and affirm the full participation of academic senates in the development of enrollment policies; and ask that the Chancellor communicate to the presidents this clarification.

RATIONALE: Enrollment policy is within the purview of shared governance as outlined in "Collegiality in the California State University" (1985).
