Commendation for Laurence K. Gould

WHEREAS, Larry Gould has served as an effective Chair of the Board of Trustees of the California State University for two terms; and

WHEREAS, As a Chair and as a Trustee, Larry Gould has fostered positive relationships between the Academic Senate CSU and the Board of Trustees; and

WHEREAS, Larry Gould has built very positive relationships between the Board of Trustees and campus senates and faculty by his many visits to and interactions with persons at the 23 campuses of the CSU; and

WHEREAS, Larry Gould has been a strong advocate for the CSU and its mission during his service as a Trustee; and

WHEREAS, Larry Gould is a genuinely nice person; therefore be it

RESOLVED: That the Academic Senate of the California State University extend to Larry Gould its deep appreciation for all of his excellent work as a Trustee and wish him the very best in all his future endeavors.
