Opposition To Senate Bill 1969 (Hughes): Teacher Credentialing

RESOLVED: That the Academic Senate of the California State University support the California State University's position of opposition (CSU Legislative Report dated August 12, 1994) to Senate Bill 1969 (Hughes): Teacher Credentialing which would significantly lessen the requirements teachers must meet in order to work with students with limited English proficiency; and be it further

RESOLVED: That the Academic Senate CSU urge Governor Wilson to veto Senate Bill 1969 (Hughes): Teacher Credentialing.
