Ms. Monica Malhotra serves as Associate Director of Analytic Studies at the California State University Office of the Chancellor. In addition to developing new information technology for reporting data, her other responsibilities include tracking and reporting CSU student graduation and persistence rates, teacher credentials recommended by the CSU, California high school and community college academic performance, student progression to degree, and graduation rates (using the Joint Commission on Accountability Reporting (JCAR) methodology, which captures information about the pace at which students make progress toward their degrees).

Ms. Malhotra previously worked for the Harbor-UCLA Research and Education Institute (REI). She was responsible for monitoring critical data, analyzing and generating reports for clinical research studies in areas such as pharmacology, psychopathology, neuropharmacology, mental disorders, and psychiatry. This work resulted in an enhanced level of patient care through the transfer of information from the laboratory to the patient's bedside. Ms. Malhotra's teaching experience includes junior high mathematics, high school business organization, and cost accounting. She also taught computer science at Cerritos Community College.

Ms. Malhotra earned two bachelor's degrees, one in business administration and the other in education. She also earned a master's degree in business management. Ms. Malhotra placed second on JMI University's merit list and has received significant honors and awards throughout her academic career.
