Student Learning Outcomes and Assessment

The CSU supports the assessment of student learning as an integral part of its core commitment to students.

Assessment at the CSU is overseen by the CSU Assessment Council. The Assessment Council helps determine student learning outcomes, develops and implements assessment plans, and uses the results of assessment for program improvement. The Assessment Council supports the mission of the CSU by promoting and coordinating the on-going assessment of institutional effectiveness.
