Measurable Objectives

 Graduate is expected to have a firm knowledge of general chemistry, including laboratory
  skills and problem solving abilities

 Graduate will have a firm knowledge of the theory and practice of chemical analysis

 Graduate will have a firm knowledge of organic chemistry, including laboratory skills

 Graduate will have a firm knowledge of physical chemistry and be able to apply it in problem
  solving

 Graduate will have satisfactory communication skills, including ability to write reports and
  make oral presentations

 Graduate will be familiar with modern methods of chemical synthesis, characterization and
  analysis, and will exhibit competence in the laboratory

 Graduate will be able to engage in meaningful speculation about the causes and results of
  chemical phenomena and reach conclusions which are reasonable within the framework of
  the information available

 Graduate will be prepared to achieve goal after graduation
