Statistical Abstracts
The Statistical Abstract is divided into seven major sections: Systemwide and Campus Enrollments, Student Profile, New Students, Academic and Support Programs, Education Access and Outcomes, Instruction, and Resources. Each section begins with an introductory narrative that describes the information presented on subsequent pages. These opening remarks are generally followed by one or more graphs that highlight issues or trends of particular importance to the area of university activity under review. Most of the trend data on students are derived from cross-sectional tables listed in the Statistical Report series. Some student figures found in the Abstract that are not found in the Statistical Report series are systemwide continuation rates and graduation rates, student/faculty ratios, and profiles for students with disabilities.
The abstract for college-year 2010-2011 will be published after the 2011-2012 school year. See note below.

Note: The Statistical Abstract is an end of year report that has a one-year lag between the posted publication date and the date when data collection was completed. So, for example, the 2011 edition of the Statistical Abstract reports on historical data up to spring 2010 (college-year 2009-2010). The 2011 edition will report on historical data up to spring 2011 (college-year 2010-2011). To view our most recent reports on applications, enrollment, and degrees awarded please go to our Statistical Reports series. Currently this series posts data for summer 2010 through spring 2011. Thus the difference between the content of the Statistical Reports and the Statistical Abstracts is that the latter represents a compilation of historical numbers from many previous published statistical reports.
